If you haven't heard of it, **Global Village** is one of Dubai's biggest attractions: a cultural and shopping fair, running since **1997**, with pavilions from countries around the world.

## When it's open
It's seasonal, **closed June to September**. Every season brings new cultures and celebrations.

## Getting there
- **Taxi:** fastest, about 20–30 minutes, but around **50–60 AED**.
- **Metro:** go to **Mall of the Emirates**, then take a bus to Global Village or a taxi for about **20–30 AED**.

About **25 AED** per person.

## When to go
**After 2:30–3 pm.** In the morning it's almost impossible to walk the pavilions because of the heat. The trade-off is less time, so you won't see every pavilion.

**Foodies:** don't miss **Turkey**. **South Korea** and **Japan** also have plenty of dishes.
