# Jurassic World: The Experience Bangkok: Worth ₹2,400? Honest Review + How to Get There by Boat

Bangkok's newest attraction (opened this August) sits at **Asiatique**. Is it worth it? Here's our honest take.

## Getting there by free boat
1. Take the **BTS to Saphan Taksin** and use **Exit 2**.
2. Walk to **Sathorn Pier**. Follow the Asiatique signboard.
3. Take the **free Asiatique shuttle boat**, which runs about **4:15 pm to 11 pm**. You come back the same way.

At the same pier you'll find the **Chao Phraya tourist boat** (hop-on hop-off) for the Grand Palace, Wat Arun and Wat Pho, and the **ICONSIAM shuttle boat**. First time in Bangkok? Do the hop-on hop-off day.

**Hotel tip:** with a budget of ₹15,000–20,000 a night, the **riverside hotels** have amazing views and their own free boats to the pier. Split a 5-day trip: 2 nights riverside, 2–3 on the Sukhumvit line. (We loved [Lebua](https://www.psvlogs.in/blog/lebua-state-tower-bangkok-review).)

- At the venue: **769 baht off-peak**, about **989 baht at peak times**.
- We booked online via Agoda, about **₹2,400 per person**.
- **Tickets are easy to get, slots aren't.** Ours was 5:30 pm, so we had an hour to kill. You enter by time slot.

## While you wait
- **Miniso Land**: a whole themed store with Looney Tunes, Shin-chan and **lots of Harry Potter** (clocks, wands, mouse pads, bags). Our resident Potterhead had a field day.
- Asiatique's shops, food joints and caricature artists.

## The experience: honest review
It's a walk-through, story-based experience with life-size dinosaurs, and it looks very real. **Kids will love it.** What we missed were **rides or VR**. It's experience-based only.

**Verdict:** OK-ish. Fun once, and great with kids. Adults wanting thrills might find it short.
