If you haven't heard of it, Global Village is one of Dubai's biggest attractions: a cultural and shopping fair, running since 1997, with pavilions from countries around the world.

When it's open
It's seasonal, closed June to September. Every season brings new cultures and celebrations.
Getting there
- Taxi: fastest, about 20–30 minutes, but around 50–60 AED.
- Metro: go to Mall of the Emirates, then take a bus to Global Village or a taxi for about 20–30 AED.
We had a 7-day Nol card for unlimited metro, bus and abra rides, so this, the airport transfers and nothing else were our only taxi spends. Our Dubai 3-day plan.

About 25 AED per person.
When to go
After 2:30–3 pm. In the morning it's almost impossible to walk the pavilions because of the heat. The trade-off is less time, so you won't see every pavilion.

When is Global Village Dubai closed?
It's seasonal, closed in the hot months of June, July, August and September.
How do I get to Global Village by metro?
Take the metro to Mall of the Emirates, then a bus or a taxi (about 20–30 AED). A taxi all the way costs about 50–60 AED and takes 20–30 minutes.
What time should I go to Global Village?
